About King Uszniewicz And His Uszniewicztones

King Uszniewicz and His Uszniewicztones (or alternately King Uszniewicz and the U-Tones) were a bowling alley band from Michigan in the early to late 70's who played "oldies" music from the 50's and 60's as well as cover songs of (at the time) current top radio hits such as Crocodile Rock. They are sometimes referred to as the worst sounding band ever assembled due to the often out of tune instruments and crude playing style and vocals. Although never a success during their tenure as a band, King Uszniewicz and the U-Tones have been gaining a cult following since the late 1990's when Norton Records released 3 LPs which featured all their known recordings.
