About Kick The Habit
A jazz/prog-rock band from Schiedam (the Netherlands) consisting currently of Paul Schaeffer (guitar, vocals), Karel Horn (keyboards), John Stuifzand (saxophone, flute, percussion), Rino Bernat (Bass, fretless bassguitar), Wim Kahnman (drums & percussion) and Jan Barends (electric, classical & accoustic guitar, vocals). The band split up in 1994 shortly after releasing and touring with their first album "Kick the habit", but made a comeback in 2002. Only former drummer Hans Bosboom had to be replaced by Wim Kahnman. In 2011 they released their third album 'Chateau l'Orange Verte', an effort largely made by Karel Horn and Paul Schaeffer. The cover consists of a painting by Marjan Horn.
