About Kelten zonder Grenzen
Kelten zonder Grenzen (Dutch for "Celts without frontiers") are a folk band from the Netherlands. They started out as a two-girl act, supporting their storytelling theatre with Harp and Hurdy Gurdy. With the addition of Renske later on, the three ladies started making Balfolk music. Though Balfolk music is initially intended for dancing, the ladies consider dancing only an option. Their melodic tunes are also ideal for listening or meditating to, or experiencing while enjoying a beverage. The girls did not turn their backs on the supporting of theatre pieces, instead they moved forward. The Kelten zonder Grenzen are: Coca on the Harp Lies on the Harp as well as the Hurdy Gurdy and Renske on the violin and the clarinet. The Kelten zonder Grenzen are sometimes supported by guest artists during their performances; one of which is Rutger (on the drums).
