About Karkkiautomaatti
Karkkiautomaatti (which is 'Candy vending machine' in English) was one of the most loved indie bands in Finland. To put it simply, anyone familiar with the band looks it back with an intense yearning in his/her heart. They were together from 1993 to 1998 and released three albums: Karkuteillä (Hilse, 1993) Kaksi - nolla (Rubber Rabbit Rock'n'Roll Records, 1996) Suudelmilla (Hawaii Sounds, 1998) In 2006 their entire recorded history of 59 songs was collected on one compilation called 'Kaikilla'. After Karkkiautomaatti's breakup, the band's singer Jansku has been musically very successful with his band Liekki.
