About Karen Corbin
Karen Corbin was born and grew up in Lyons Brook, Pictou County, Nova Scotia and was a pop/dance music singer in the 1990's. Corbin released many dance tracks licensed with Quality Records, Popular Records and PolyMedia/Universal Music. Her highest charted pop/dance single in 1998 "High On Love", appeared on more than 5 national compilation compact discs. She was also nominated for two East Coast Music Awards and performed on the 10th Anniversary East Coast Music Awards broadcast live from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Another pop/dance single, "Gotta Have Your Love" landed on the compilation titled Pure Dance 4 and was released in the summer of 2000 - selling Double Platinum (200,000 units) in Canada. Corbin currently lives in Trenton, Nova Scotia, plays celtic pop music and freelances in graphic design.
