About Kandidaatti

Kandidaatti, originally from Jyväskylä Finland and now based in Helsinki, is a versatile singer and mc making reggae, hip hop and dancehall style music. So far Kandidaatti aka K-D is best known from Laulurastas and Puppa J & Tasottavat groups. With these bands he has toured around Finland and been recorded for many vinyls and CDs. Since the 'Recreate Musically' initiative was launched in Finland in late 2008, Blackpeoples and Kandidaatti have been working together. Kandidaatti's debut album came out in August 2009 by RemuRecords, Finland.
