Kamil Jalilov (Azerbaijani: Kamil Cǝlilov, Russian: Кямиль Джалилиов, born in 1938 in Buzovna, Baku) is widely regarded in Azerbaijan as one of the greatest folk musicians of all time as he is the master player of wind instruments such as balaban, clarinet, duduk, zurna, oboe and Azerbaijani folk instruments In 1953, he started to perform in the age of 15. He joined the Asaf Zeynalli School of Music and then graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatory. During 1970 to 1988, as a musician he toured with concert performances in several countries of the world, including Egypt, Italy, Poland, India, Lebanon, Syria, and many other countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.
