Prior to forming his own band in 2008, he has played with such artists as Jukka Tolonen Trio, Monaco Blues Band, Yonder, Dana Fuchs Band, Eric Bibb, Bill's Boogie Band, Jump 4 Joy, Jenny Bohman Band, Wentus Blues Band, Alan Haynes, Bag Of Rhythm, Silver Mountain, Junior Watson etc. After many tours in Scandinavia, Europe, US and Russia. Kjell released his debut CD , "Many Million Miles" in the autumn of October 2008. It featured 13 songs which Kjell had made all of the music and arrangments. He made the record with some of all the finest musicians that he had worked with throughout all those years. So it ended up with 28 musicians participating. And they are really some of the hardest working and best Rock & Blues musicians in Sweden.
