About Rene Kita
"Destroy music as we know it!" That's how it started, but that turned out to be too ambitious, so Rene Kita has been making it up as he goes ever since, improvising in the grand old German 80s Dilletanten mode of his youth in Germany, using voice, guitars and all kinds of junk and assembling dissonant tracks from the material gained with Soundtracker and Audacity on GNU/Linux. Also active as one half of Meisselschieber. Being generally allergic to commercialism and excessive attention, all his music is available free on the net. Born in Finland, grew up in Germany, moved back to Finland in 1983. Musical taste permanently marked by Tödliche Doris, Palais Schaumburg, Kosmonautentraum and early Neubauten.
