About K-Again
After 8 years of being on stage and working hard in developing our music abroad, trying everything is possible to succeed including relocating in another country, after tons of shows around Europe but basicly after an unlucky five years period in which we always had problems to find a permanent drummer, we decided to go on a permanent hiatus. We will dedicate ourselves to other projects and other bands. Pigo is living already from 2004 in Holland and since then was involved in other projects as guitar player (Until We Bleed/With Pride) and now he is the singer of the moshmetalhardcore band SAMARITAN with ex members from Born from Pain, Neuk and Stone Cold. The bass player Skyzzo and the guitar player Stef are now in TRACES OF YOU with ex members of Blindfad. Stef have also managed guitar duties for the october 2006 tour of the now defunct dutch moshcore band WITH PRIDE, and he is involved in a Misfits cover band called DEATH COMES SHREDDING. We started playing some crossover or nu-metal stuff back in october 1998 till 2001 (recording an ep and two albums...one was never released!) but most of us were influenced by hardcore and metal, so in our natural evolution our style changed a lot also because of the many line-up changes we had. We can say that starting from 2002 (afer some line-up changes) our style became more and more "in your face attitude" so more metal :-). Passing through the "ultraVIOLENCE" ep that was recorded in Italy in february 2002, then the ep "Memories Of An Evolutin" recorded in Los Angeles back in august 2003 with Logan Mader (Machine Head, Soulfly) that was still open to melodic influences, we put a final word with our last demo recorded with Alex Azzali (Cataract, Ancient) in july 2006, that was definetly way heavier than everything we wrote before. That material was the real expression of the band. We certainly don't have any regrets for what we did in the past, for what we achieved and for what we tried to achieve. We shared the most amazing moments of our life together, driving, living, sleeping, eating, fighting and suffering everytime together more as a family than as a band. This is something that will remain with us forever and it payed us off for everything we did. Making music together was a wonderful experience, playing tours together was even better and is really important for us to know that even if we never became big or really known, even if we never had the real shot, we conquered people and not only sweating blood on every stage we played from the smallest to the biggest venue. The music that we played was coming from our heart, from the heart of guys born in a country in which is IMPOSSIBLE to succeed if you play heavy music. We are so glad that our message arrived to the hearts of the audience as well. This is the most exciting reward we can have for our job more than a record deal or whatelse. LAST but not LEAST... We want to thank all the people that supported us in this long journey since october 1998...they are quiet a lot so we know you know who you are even if we don't mention your name here :-) We want to thank every bands we shared the stage with, every person that offered us food or a place to sleep or a warm shower, every booker who believed in us and basicly every SINGLE fan who went to see one of our shows.
