About Jules Dinwoodie

Jules was born 22 years ago in Sydcup general hospital, just south of London. He spent the first year of his life in a flat on Shooters Hill, London, after which he moved to the north of England. However, he currently resides in Neubukow, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. Influenced from an early age by his father's guitar playing, at the age of 7 he took up the guitar, and after three years of tutored playing and 8 years self-taught, he decided to create an album. He draws influence from guitarists such as Stevie-Ray-Vaughn and Martin Taylor, and singer-sonwriter Danny Plett. The Album has been a break from the norm for Jules, breaking out from a blues-orientated basis to encompass a more acoustic feel. He strives however, to present a wide range of music, with several key themes: The importance of God, of love, and of music, as well as the beauty of nature. A key idea that he would like to highlight is the moving power of music, and he hopes that his music will take people away from their everyday lives, and transport them to a special place, a unique dreamworld, lost in the music.
