Joshua Colley is a triple threat who stars as young Captain Hook, in the hit Disney franchise “Descendants: The Rise of Red”, and in the Netflix series “Dead Boy Detectives” – produced by Greg Berlanti and Neil Gaiman, based on the DC Comics property of the same name. In 2022 alone, Joshua appeared in Hulu’s “Sex Appeal” and “Love, Victor”, as well as the Netflix film “Senior Year”. For the latter, he received great recognition amongst the all-star ensemble, which includes Rebel Wilson, Justin Hartley, Alicia Silverstone, and more. Joshua began his career in New York City as a child actor on Broadway. He is best known for his portrayal of ‘Les’ in the musical “Newsies”, as well as ‘Gavroche’ in the 2014 revival of “Les Misérables”, alternating in the role with Gaten Matarazzo. The Huffington Post called Joshua’s performance “grounded and believable and anything but an outtake from Oliver!” In 2016, he played the titular role in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” at The York Theatre Company, and ‘Flounder’ in The Hollywood Bowl’s “The Little Mermaid” alongside Sara Bareilles, Tituss Burgess, John Stamos, and Rebel Wilson.
