About Jon Epworth & The Improvements

Jon Epworth has been playing music for the last 2 decades. Originating in his mother’s womb, Jon has managed to transcend general genre generalizations with his unique brand of indie pop. Jon has 12 full length albums to his credit, of which only 3 are worth listening to. The 1999 release Effing Scoundrel established Jon as a force in the 99 cent bin. Jon bounced back with the moderate indie success of MM/DD/YY released on the now defunct antiantenna records in 2002. 2004 saw the release of Two Sessions, an album written and recorded in two separate 12 hour periods. Backed by a solid bunch of a-holes, the Improvements, Jon released his latest one entitled “Wet on Wet” in April of 2006 (originally on TikTok Records, it has since been re-released (along with Jon’ prior work) through the Jon’s own Leutonia label). http://www.jonepworth.com http://www.myspace.com/jonepworthandtheimprovements Band Members: JON EPWORTH - Soothsayer Instrument of choice: Quill & Parchment.
