Munich, Germany (2007 – present) Jon Mesek (born 12 February 1982 in Radolfzell), is a german singer, songwriter and pianist, who lives in Munich. At the age of 7 he learned to play the piano. After he finished school, he studied for one year songwriting, soundtechnology and arrangement at the "Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts" (founded by Paul McCartney) before he decided to start his solo career in Germany. His debutsingle We're gonna live today was released 2007. In the same year he had his first bigger acts on stage at "Rock im Park" and pre-acts at concerts of Maria Mena , Paolo Nutini and Pohlmann . In 2008 Jon Mesek released his debut album In My Head. Mesek wrote his second album Marcy Avenue in Munich, Montréal, Paris and New York City. For the recordings he teamed up with producer Jean-Philip Grobler from Brooklyn based band St. Lucia. Release date is the 17th of June 2013. http://www.jonmesek.de/
