Funky New Orleans blues band.` John Lisi played his first professional gig at age 13. John has logged in thousands of miles on the road, including tours of the US, Mexico, and Europe. As well as busy studio adctivities while in Los Angeles, John spent a couple of years with legendary blues-sax man, Big Jay McNeely. Upon arriving in South Louisiana, John landed a gig as house guitar player at the world famous Tabby's Blues Box, where he had a chance to play with such artists as Henry Gray, Chris Thomas King, J. Monque'D,and larry Garner; as well as performing with Tabby Thomas, including two New Orleans Jass and Heritage Festivals. Home page
