About John Isaac Watters

John Isaac Watters is a Mexico City-born, Tuscon-raised alt-country/rock singer-songwriter. He first learned how to play the violin at the age of nine, and began writing songs about the desolate beauty of Arizona in his final year of architecture school at USC. While working for Frank Gehry's firm, he became increasingly immersed in the freedom of music, sculpting one-liners to create sweepingly structural songs, and left corporate creativity to be able to focus on music in 2009. Watters began performing alongside his brother Joel in LA-based STILL WATTERS RUN DEEP. A "cacophony of hearts," the band became a collection of singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists that continues to play throughout Los Angeles. Watters is releasing his first solo album this fall, titled "Parachute Tramps," and is currently touring throughout Southern California. ... For more: http://johnisaacwatters.com/
