http://johannesluley.com Born in Hamburg, Johannes was raised in Darmstadt, Germany, where he lived until his move to California in 1993. At age 13 he started studying under Jazz guitarist Eddy Marron. In his 20's he established himself as a prolific session player, supporting acts such as German pop singer Ina Deter and Justin Hayward of Moody Blues fame. In California he joined Elton John protégé Ryan Downe's Band "The Hypocrites" with whom he opened for the Who and Iggy Pop amongst others. In the late 90's Johannes started his producer/audio engineering career. in 2002, he founded progressive rock band Moth Vellum which released one album to critical acclaim. In 2010 Johannes started working on his solo debut "Tales From Sheepfather's Grove" which was released on January 15th, 2013. The very same year, he founds new Band named Perfect Beings alongside Chris Tristram (Bass), Ryan Hurtgen (Vocals), Dicki Fliszar (Drums) and Jesse Nason (Keyboards). Perfect Beings released two albums: Eponymous album in 2014 and "Perfect Beings II" in 2015 and are working on a third volume which is to be released in late 2017. He also released new solo album "Qitara" on 15th September 2017.
