About Jitka Charvátová
Jitka Charvátová aka JI started her musical career in the project Fiction of Mejla Hlavsa (ex member Plastic People of the Universe). Later she became a lead singer of the popular electronic dance band Skyline. In Jan 2010 she released her first solo album called Feed My Lion under the Czech electronica label Big Demoiselles. JI herself composed the most of the music on the album Feed My Lion as a reflection on the progressive European musical scene. Her music has been influenced by electropop, 8 bit, ambient but also by hip hop music. The album has been produced by Armin Effenberger (Cartonnage, Sunshine, No Heroes, ...). The album was well received by the critiques and the first single Real Life has become the number eight among the most radio-played Czech songs in the official charts IFPI during few weeks.
