Jippu is a 31-year-old singer-songwriter from Helsinki, Finland. Her debut album "Salaisuuksia, joita yksinäiset huutaa unissaan"(transl. Secrets that lonely people scream in their dreams) was released in the fall 2006, and won "the best debut album of the year" -award in Emma gaala ( a Finnish version of the Grammy Awards). Her second album "Kuka teki minusta tän naisen" (Who made me this woman) was released in April 2008. Both of these albums have sold over 15,000 copies. In November 2010 came out record called PIMEÄ ONNI by Jippu & Samuli Edelmann, who is one of Finland's most respected male singers.
