About Jimmi Accardi
Jimmi Accardi is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and bandleader. His background includes touring as lead guitarist for Chubby Checker, Eddy Dixon, and Mickey Dolenz and Davey Jones of The Monkees; session guitarist for Rupert Holmes; and recording with Harry Nilsson. He is lead guitarist and songwriter for The Laughing Dogs, who had two critically acclaimed albums on Columbia Records (The Laughing Dogs and The Laughing Dogs Meet Their Makers) and original songs in the Billboard charts. He was a member of Mud In Your Eye, Foxtrot, and The Terminators. He also played with Evan Lurie (The Lounge Lizards), and played and wrote music with Al Hendrix. With his band Jimmi Accardi and The Wild Cats, he has put out several albums of original rock & roll / rockabilly / jump blues tunes. His song "Dance My Blues Away" was covered by Charlie Gracie on his CD "For the Love of Charlie". Jimmi has his own radio show, "Jimmi Accardi's Rock & Roll Party" on KVMR-FM.
