About Jewdriver
Jewdriver was first conceived at a secret location in Oakland, California(circa 1994) when Ian Stuartstein and a fellow named Jay Oniskinwitz were sharing a bottle of Cherry Manischewitz (our official drink), something infected their brains that night and they thought "Wouldn't a Jewish Skinhead band be a great idea?!?!?" Memebers: Ian Stuartstein - vocals Max Bagels - guitar, vocals Kilgore Gefilte - guitar, vocals Aryan Sharon - bass Heeb Who Cannot Be Named - drums We discussed the idea with Max Bagels that evening over a vicious drinking game known as "quarters" involving many bottles of extremely low grade Tequila manufactured in nearby San Jose and Jewdriver was well on its way to being formed. We toiled for awhile under the name G.I. Jew and things were going quite well, we played shows with little known bands at the time like Green Day, Rancid, the Lizards, Schlong, Neurosis,Guano and Ding Dang among others, we had no idea that some of these bands were going to go on and become so filthy rich and famous, we just could not get it together like that. Ian started to discover his "Inner Jew" around 1996 or so after a brush with death and this was when G-d spoke to him and laid out what the future would hold...shortly thereafter, Ian fired the entire band and recruited a group of young, impressionable Zionist skinhead kids from the local region. He renamed the band Jewdriver and began his campaign to fulfill G-d's wishes. The band moved ever so slowly and rarely played except for the occasional Bar Mitzvah or wedding. It wasn't until 2001 that Max Bagels, after an extended stay in Israel where he ran a bagel shop catering to local military personnel and a colony of Hasidic transvestite lepers, returned to the United States and proclaimed his allegiance to the righteous path with which Jewdriver had set a course upon. Reunited, the two original members of Jewdriver blazed a trail through the recordings of Skrewdriver, the inspiration of Ian's original epiphany at the hands of YHWH. Firing all the Zionist skinheads from the band, Ian and Max collected a superior set of musicians: Kilgore Gefilte on lead guitar, Fujiyama Mountainberg on bass and Judayu on drums, Jewdriver marched ontowards victory! Playing shows with the new unit had an immense impact, crowds were whipped into a bagel throwing fervor, much mayhem ensued, masses of yarmulke clad skinheads appeared from everywhere?!?!! Who knew? Ian did. Selecting the finest lads and lassies from this underground Zog Army that arose, Jewdriver formed their security force, known only as F.O.I. (Fruit of Israel), another major stepping stone towards ultimate victory was gained. Fujiyama and Judayu took a much-needed sabbatical to get closer to YHWH and spend their time forming a cult at the location of the great Masada. With their temporary departures, a young and highly loyal minister of propaganda for Jewdriver has taken over bass duties, his name is Aryan Sharon. In search of a drummer worthy of Jewdriver, Ian roamed the desert for many amoon until he happened upon a small and ancient shack. A light shone down upon the shack as if G-d was pointing his finger to enter. Ian entered the shack and there sitting in the middle of a Star of David painted in the blood of Adolf Hitler and Joseph Mengele was a man, this was no ordinary man and certainly no Zionist skinhead! He had long hair and wore merely a loincloth and his eyes appeared to have fire pouring out of them! He told Ian he had been waiting for him and that G-d had instructed him to lead Jewdriver with the pounding sounds of thunder and to strike the drums with his sticks like lightning. He-Brew Who Cannot Be Named (for fear of YHWH's wrath) followed Ian out of the desert and joined Jewdriver in it's campaign to bring the sound of G-d's anger upon the Earth.
