About Jess Hammond
Growing up in a musical family, Jess has been performing from a very young age. Her initial involvement was in amateur theatre and opera at Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of Music where she also underwent classical vocal training to Level 6 AMEB. In this time Jess was also involved in many bands and vocal ensembles, which took her to perform at the Opera House and the Entertainment Centre, and gave her exposure to a broad range of musical styles including jazz, black gospel, rock, country and opera. For the last five years, Jess has been working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in Melbourne, where she has developed a passion for leading worship and music ministry. Her gifts have been used in many churches Australia-wide and abroad in places such as Nepal, Singapore, China and Russia. Her songs are full of passion and personal testimony as she ministers from her missionary experiences and her deep love for God.
