Jean-Pierre Louis Rampal (7 January 1922 – 20 May 2000) was a French flutist. He has been personally "credited with returning to the flute the popularity as a solo classical instrument it had not held since the 18th century." Yuzuko Horigome (b Tokyo, 1957). Japanese violinist. Won first prize Queen Elisabeth of the Belgians int. comp., Brussels 1980. London début March 1983, Vienna début 1983.
