In the wake of the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake, Swizz Beatz organised Jay-Z, Rihanna and Bono and The Edge from U2 to come together and record a charity single for the Hope for Haiti Now campaign. The result was Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour), which was relased January 23 as a digital download. It hit #1 on iTunes in many countries within hours, and all profits from the sales will go to Partners in Health, a medical organization on the ground in Haiti, www.pih.org.
