London based band The Jags formed in 1978 by Nick Watkinson (vocals), John Alder (guitar), Steve Prudence (bass), Alex Baird (drums), Michael Cotton (bass) and Patrick O'Toole (piano/keyboard). They released two LPs, Evening Standards (1980) and No Tie Like a Present (1981).
