Jack Eely and the Courtmen was a short-lived group set up by former Kingsmen lead singer Jack Ely. The name was misspelled as Eely on the label; not clear if this was intentional or not. They released a version of Louie, Louie in 1966 to capitalize on the unexpected success of the Kingsmen version.
