Jabberwocky refers to several bands: 1. Jabberwocky is a French electropop band originating from Poitiers, France. In 2013 they became famous with the single "Photomaton" featuring the vocals of Elodie Wildstars. Most scrobbles to artist "Jabberwocky" refer to this French band. 2. The eclectic rock band from the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St Paul) area of Minnesota. Their songs combine elements such as blues, funk, punk, hip-hop, and straight-up, good ol' fashioned rock and roll. 3. South Florida folk/humor band with local folk singers such as Valerie "Wisecracker" Caracappa. They only made one CD, "First Cold Pressing" before one of their members died and they were forced to disband. 4. Woodstock, New York-based folk and traditional teenaged trio (sometimes quartet), comprised of fiddler Rosie Newton, daughter of folk cellist Abby Newton, fiddler Susannah Kricker, accordionist Dan Gurney, and multi-instrumentalist Jack Dwyer. 5. Jabberwocky made several records between 1993 and 2000, toured Holland and Germany and played several times at the VPRO's Club Lek. Jabberwocky split up in 2000, but rejoined in 2006 with new energy! 6. An Allston, Mass.-based acoustic/alternative band made up of Zach Gross, Dave Kauffman, Bryan Saul, Troy Ramey, and James Bridges. 7. A demo band from Đurđevac, Croatia. 8. One-girl french band composed of Celyne Palmer, singing and playing piano, guitar and many other instruments... 9. An ethno-punk band from Bergamo, Italy. They released only one album in 2002, titled "Musicoviandati".
