About Ink Operated
In 1998, four charismatic young artists and one dynamic DJ form Ink Operated. The group consists of Mumblz, Kaboom, Grafhic, epdeMIC, and DJ Wundrkut. Their distinctive sounds separate themselves from not only other rappers but from each other as well. These residents of Guildford, a suburb of Surrey, met going into high school in the mid-nineties and developed friendships before becoming a rap group in 1998. The pinnacle of their young careers came with the release of their first album Ink Operated presents..., backed by a team of producers including the Canadian underground legend DJ Moves, Peanuts and Corn Records' Mcenroe, L-Precise, Stace Prints, and in-group production by Kaboom. Through honest expressions these writers create mood-altering music that stimulates inspiration in the listener. Currently experiencing tremendous local success the group is now ready to take their music to a broader audience.
