About Infinite Birth
A constantly evolving wave of rhythm, discordant melody and noise teetering on the brink of unity. Infinite Birth began as a collaboration between improvised no-wave noise/drone band Blood Moon (Graham Dunning and Lou Woodcock), sound and visual artist Gary Fisher and artist-filmmaker Helen Shanahan. After two sessions in a dilapidated mill in Ancoats, Manchester, the collaboration project became a band in earnest. A profound understanding was discovered during these sessions. Infinite Birth do not discuss or plan their intentions for each session, they just play and record what they do.
