About Idee des Nordens
The focus of the performances of IDEE DES NORDENS is on "playing" - an activity which is shared by musicians, actors and maybe artists. I.D.N. play live in a sandbox and by doing so create images which are in accordance with their music which is to be heard simultaniously. The perspective is broken for several times: The action inside of the sandbox is projected with a video-beamer on a big screen in fromt of the audience. According to the characteristics of the place of performance the audience can watch the actors directly, or they are invisible but still very close. A play with reality and projection, distance and closeness.
