About IMALU

IMALU, real name Otake Imalu (大竹いまる), is a Japanese actress and artist. Born in Tokyo, Japan, on September 19, 1989, she is the daughter of the famous comedian Akashiya Sanma (明石家さんま) and actress Otake Shinobu (大竹しのぶ). She early interest in music and decided to become an artist herself. She went to study in Canada in a school in Victoria, which she left in April 2008. She made her first appearance in the Zipper magazine in June 2009, and participated in radio show tre-sen on FM Yokohama. Her first single "Mashed Potato" was released in 2010 January, but she made her first TV lives with her second single "Sonna Namae Hoshikunai yo" in March. The third single "Uh Uh" was released in April 29, 2010. She also present a Show called "A-Studio" every friday
