Like all traditional music, irish folk music has changed slowly. Most folk songs are less than two hundred years old. One measure of its age is the language used. But now, modern irish song is written in English and Bahasa come often from the cities and towns. IKAT KEPALA came out swinging with their own song “Brigade Suara” a collection of tales about us, loyalty and remembering where we come from. “Brigade Suara” contains all the best elements of the IKATKEPALA sound : a complex distillation of classic punk rock, celtic folk, and Indonesian folk, this song puts the bands diversity, intensity and sincerity on full display. From we are all lovely country, where it all begun with our hobbies to watching football games and hear some music. We try to support our country team “Indonesian Football Association”(PSSI) with our music and movement. Iwan Fals, BABADOTAN, The Dubliners, Wolfe Tones, The pogues, Mr.Shane Macgowan, Mr.Johny Cash, Flogging Molly, The Young Dubliners, Belfast Muslims, Dropkick Murphys, Fiddlers Green. were our influence music. We always wanted to be that people and band that didn’t forget where their come from and we keep it in the forefront of our minds that we’re all in together, audience and band members as one, no one better than the other. That’s the point of a lot of Folk bands but we think sometimes it gets lost the minute a band has any kind of success. We never want to let it go from our heads. We know how lucky we are yo be doing this and it’s because of all the people that listen to our music we have this opportunity to see the world. We don’t care if we are playing in front of 10 or 10,000 people, those people who stand up and singing our song to support their local team is the only reason why we are doing this.
