About I Like Snaps

I Like Snaps formed in 2005 after the demise of The Graduation, originally just the solo acoustic material of Levi Halford, it later added Kristina Halford on vocals and various instruments. Through the following years of 2006-2008, the band recorded some internet demos and a split with an indie band from central Illinois and played a few shows as a duo. Early 2009, Levi had joined a band with former “Graduation” member Michael Petrowich, which played a breed of scremo called “Augustus”. Shortly after playing a few gigs members of “Augustus” joined forces to bring “I Like Snaps” to full band status. With the addition of Michael Petrowich, Jeremiah Kistler, and Jordan Elder; I Like Snaps started reworking the original songs to include bass and drums. In early 2009 Jeremiah Kistler left the band to pursue other endeavors, Dave Pochek joined them on drums. I Like Snaps is currently working on new material and in the process of recording their first real record.
