About Hurst Pier Point

Emerging from Elvis and Queen tribute bands in 2005 and getting together to play music because they wanted to look cool, HURST-PIERPOINT spend most of their time getting drunk and annoying the neighbours. Based in Gillingham Kent, they state their influences as Bloc Party, Norah Jones, The Chemical Bothers, Extreme and David Hasselhoff and on their debut release, 'Blag Us A Pint' they power their way through punk rock harmonies with the energy of a group of children after too much sugar. Having played sessions for KMFM and Invicta Radio stations, shared the stage with Chumbawumba at the Park Life Festival, and recently completed a tour with Self Against City and Springtide Cavalry, they will be setting out to tour again in the autumn. We are pleased to report that Hurst Pier Point have signed up to GO Management UK and are currently planning a tour for 2009.
