About Hurricäde

Hurricäde was a Girona-based post-hardcore/screamo band formed in early 2007. Following the recording and release of their self-titled LP in 2008, Hurricäde began regular concert activity, including several underground festivals and a brief European tour. Pariah's Pharos, a 4-track EP, was released in 2011 through Caleiah (Madrid) and Hurricäde's local label Saltamarges. The release of their second full-length, Anachronisms, in 2014 - recorded and mastered by the García brothers at Ultramarinos - consolidated Hurricäde's sound and marked the band's most prolific period in terms of live performances. After eight years of activity, Hurricäde performed one last time at the iconic Atzavara Club on June 20, 2015, and entered an indefinite hiatus. A year later, a 7-inch split EP with DMM was released, including two previously unreleased tracks recorded shortly before their farewell. After breaking up, the members continued to play in different bands such as Tano!, Leavs and Scumdogs. Members: Oskar Garcia, Gerard Serrano & André Tauber
