About Huranova
HURANOVA is an Italian metalcore band from Piacenza, formed in 2017. The band is fronted by vocalist Lottie Baroni, with guitarist Davide "DD" Dameno, bassist Sam Invernizzi, and drummer Matt Lo Sicco completing the lineup. Initially formed as a rock cover band in 2013, the group took a break from live performances to rework their style and approach. In 2017, they returned with a new drummer and a shift in musical direction, evolving into a metalcore band that blends alternative and modern metal elements. Huranova’s music combines melodic, easy-listening hooks with the technical intensity of metal riffs. Their songs often address social issues and current events, with lyrics primarily written by vocalist Carlotta Baroni. Their sound aims to evoke complex emotions through a mixture of catchy melodies and heavy, intricate instrumentation. Their debut release since reforming was in August 2018 with the single Go with the Devil, followed later that year by Moral Pressure in December. In October 2019, they released their first full-length album, Allowed to Demand Aloud. They continued to release singles in 2021, including Need, Loss of Me, and Shape, followed by a cover of The Killers' Somebody Told Me in February 2022. Their original single NO NAME came out later in June of that year. In February 2023, Huranova released the single RECONNECTION, followed by COLLISION (save me) in November. Their first EP, TAKE ME FIRST, was released in May 2024 under Superbia Music Group, marking a significant milestone in their career with a label backing.
