Highway Child, out of Copenhagen Denmark, is now ready with their 3rd album in only 4 years. HC deliver the goods with a sound that re-interprets and puts an edge on classic rock. Warm, genuine, trippy, hard-chuggin', melodic, bluesy & ass-kickin' rock 'n' roll that references bands like Cream, early Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, the Seeds, Zombies, etc. On their new album, simply called Highway Child, the band shows are more catchy and soulful side of themselves and the album is by far their most personal album to date. The sound is dirty taking you back to the times where the computer was unknown and the recordings are done on tape with producer Per Sunding (The Cardigans amongst others). With around 70 gigs per year Highway Child does indeed live up to their name.
