About Hieron
There is more than one Hieron. 1. HIERON is an atmospheric black metal band from Görlitz, Germany. Their first album, on Vendetta Records, came out in January 2026. 2. The Hieron was formed in 2005 by drummer Tiago Marques until then, guitarists Rafael Rotta and Carlos Campos, Paul Gehlen keyboardist, bassist and vocalist Edgar Campos Marcio Lima. Over the years the band went through many changes, both in musical style, as in his training, which was of great importance for the band came to the musical path he intended to follow. In 2006 James makes the battery to be alongside Marcio vocalist of the band, while also assuming the role of composer, so Luan Patrese took the battery. About a year and a half after Edgar also left the band, entering Luciano Simas.Essa training was maintained until the year 2008 when Luan Patrese decides to leave the band, some drummers passed through the band during the year, but only in 2009 Kaio Ribeiro who came from Ponta Pora, took over as drummer for Hieron. The year 2009 was not only the training that changed the band, the group decided it was time to devote solely to their compositions, also changing the musical style of the band. With influences of POD, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park and Bryan Head, Hieron took the musical style that continues today, the Nu Metal. That same year, Hieron won a competition held in Ponta Pora, whose sworn Dornelas Teo, singer guitarist Gospel PG.
