About Hideyo Harada
Hideyo harada, born in Yamaguchi, Japan, attended in 1977 the National University of Music and Performing Arts in Tokyo, studying with T. Matsuura. She worked in 1983 in Stuttgart with L. Gierth and in 1987 in Vienna with R. Keller. Ms. Harada was strongly influenced artistically by her work with the famous pianist and teacher Viktor Merzhanov at the Tschaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Moscow. Successful in numerous competitions, Hideyo Harada has performed extensively in important cultural centers of Europe, Russia and Far East. He also led masterclasses for piano at the conservatory for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna.
