So here it goes, started off in early/mid 2004, Tom and Shane start getting kids together to make a band, Jonathon joins bringing Jamie and Brendan and another lad called Kieran, after a few weeks Kieran leaves and is replaced by James Booth. Loads of summer practice and writing, gigs start kicking off here, there and everywhere. Tom leaves band just after Christmas, Dead friends became a five piece. More gigs get played throughout 2005, During the summer of 2005 current line up record 'death is our art this is our masterpiece'(working title). More gigs and then University kicked off, Jamie moves to Plymouth, the rest of the guys carry on practicing and writing new material, in October/November 2005 Shane and Jonathon both leave the band, James Taylor and Ash Thackery are brought in to replace them. Gigs continue when Jamies back from uni. After Jamies return back to Plymouth the rest of the band slowly go on a sort of Hiatus, Brendan started work on his solo project, James and Taylor join Thy Horror Grows Near.
