About Hell's Island
Hell’s Island is an alternative rock band from Brescia (Italy) born in 2002. Throughout the years they have become recognizable for their powerful impact sound and the visceral approach to live. The first EP is published in 2005 and the sound is characterized by the many influences of the band’s members. 70s Rock, punk and heavy-metal recalls can be found throughout the melodies . After the first composing and recording experiences, and many live gigs, the band keep on evolving. The transition is 3 years long, during this period Hell’s island finds a new path to follow. The influences merge together, the rough and instinctive soul of grunge is fused with the powerful sound of metal. On January 2009 the nine tracks album/EP “II” is released. Two new tracks are released in 2011. The sound, the time signature and the structure are the new focus of the songs, that keep their roots on the grunge while taking inspiration by progressive rock. A new guitarrist join the band in 2012, the "Black Painted Circle" Ep is finally realesed and the band is ready to start again with the live shows.
