About Helezon Prizma
Sinan Güngörer's musical creations emerge from a combination of a lifetime interest in electronic devices and a passion for music, and Helezon Prizma is what he has chosen to dub these. The origins of Helezon Prizma can be traced back to the 1990s, when it was as a modest hobby and a homegrown musical experiment. As years passed, numerous friendships grew and substantial, fascinating music materialized. Eventually it was time to take Helezon Prizma to its next natural phase, where it would no longer be a personal project. This is how Helezon Prizma Live came into existence. The mastermind behind Helezon Prizma Live is Sinan Güngörer, an audio engineer and arranger who is a veteran of today's music scene. Professional musician Cem Ömeroglu (of the Nekropsi fame) and prolific author/musician Kaan Sezyum (from Sidharta's first album) are the permanent associates of Helezon Prizma. Further vocal and lyrical contributions are provided by Gülüs Gülcügil Türkmen from Bettyween and Timur Çelikyay who is the collective's manager. Helezon Prizma tends to be upbeat, exciting and occasionally ambient, and its sound could be considered minimal. Helezon Prizma's dictum is that each concert be based on a entirely new musical repertoire. The pieces are typically arranged on-the-fly during live performances, and this increases the improvisation ability of the collective, further enriching the repertoire, and determining the content of upcoming releases.
