About HELD BY TREES

Held By Trees is an instrumental post-rock collaboration of musicians from the United Kingdom. The music is heavily inspired by Talk Talk and Mark Hollis. Many musicians that took part in the infamous sessions for Talk Talk's Spirit of Eden (1988) and Laughing Stock (1991), as well as Mark Hollis' solo album (1998), collaborated on Held By Trees' début LP, Solace (2022). Other inspirations include the minimal piano work of Ryuichi Sakamoto and early 1970s Pink Floyd.
