About Heimstatt Yipotash
since late 90s the two solo projects heimstatt and yipotash from dresden/germany moved on separate ways on exploration of musical structures. soon their ways crossed and a perpetual exchange of ideas and musical elements followed. 2001 has been year one of the bundled component called heimstatt yipotash: at march 30th the first gig in chemnitz had been played. due to very intense collective work various completely new interpreations of older songs and -of course- lot of new songs have been produced since then. in 2003 the first (handmade and limited) album called "fm excess" appeared: a product of live collaborations and studio works so far. still more live gigs, e.g. maschinenfest 2004 and 4 times (!) at the elektroanschlag festivals in altenburg strongened and even expanded the heimstatt yipotash style. in 2005 heimstatt yipotash had been signed by the famous german industrial label hands productions and in february 2006 the first official label release called "storegga effect" has been released.
