About Hazard Adams
Hazard Adams is the pure embodiment of good time rock n roll. Hailing from Boston, Jesse Friedberg (guitar/vocals), Christopher Perry (guitar/mandolin), Chris Franzen (drums/backing vox), and Pete Dotson-Westphalen (bass/backing vox) have forged a strong following, mixing classic rock, energetic alt-country, Americana, and folk rock into a sound all their own. Consistent shows in and around the Boston area have found the band amass a loyal fan base, also allowing their chemistry to develop into the strong bond that is Hazard Adams. Their explosive live shows are immediate, urgent, and honest, as the entire band fuses together to create jagged alt-country rock n’ roll, complete with Perry’s dazzling slide guitar, Friedberg’s raw and honest vocal performance, and the tight ever grooving rhythms of Franzen and Pete. Song writing has always been the band’s secret weapon, and as the years go by, Friedberg and Perry’s comfort and experimentation have resulted in a massive collection of great songs that equally tug upon emotions as they flat out rock. The band self released their Tongue Tied White Lies EP last year. Now they are on their way to record with esteemed producer Michael Seifert (Tori Amos, Fountains of Wayne, Regina Spektor) at Ante Up Audio in Cleveland, OH. Hazard Adams are looking to have an amazing 2010 still ahead of them, and the time to take notice has arrived.
