Hawthonn is a project by Phil and Layla Legard (electronics, accordion, fox-skull, harmonium, field recordings, spiricom, vocals), also featuring Simon Bradley (cello, Aura) and Lovernios Legard (vocalisations, Thanatopsis). Phil Legard describes the project as taking its inspiration from the landscape of Bassenthwaite, the final resting place for the earthly vessel that hosted Coil’s Jhonn Balance.
