About Hardsparrow

Exhaling from deep in the Lower Underdogs, Paul Hardsparrow makes mechano-jelly music about desperation and animation, mushing finger-poncked classical guitar and bongo with Casio keybooms and elemental poff-blocks. He is party to the Fence Collective and is currently working on his second album, "Blue Series Mutations", fourth album, "Meerschaum Tram", and fifth album, "Sea Tractor". His first and third albums, "Oj, What A Sorry Life" and "Sea Mountain Songs", were released by his own label (Sweet Lion) and Fence Records respectively. In 2009, the Hardsparrow brand was incorporated without pre-lousing under the larger company Peanut Snake. One result of this new partnership was that Hardsparrow was immediately stopped from writing and performing songs, and was instead put to work recording incidental music for a series of listen-along audio books, the first of which, titled "Pine Cone Kick", received a small number of public performances in 2010, and is set to be released as a cassette, with accompanying book, by Peanut Snake in 2011. Prior to this eponymous project, Hardsparrow did time with wild squeegee rockers Brides Of Kong.
