About Hang Playing Hedge Monkeys
The Hang Playing Hedge Monkeys are Danny Cudd and Daniel Waples. After meeting at a UK festival in July 2006 they instantly become great friends and have since spent the past few years traveling the world broadening their knowledge of world music, culture and many different forms of creative expression. Their main influences come from traditional music from around the world including Africa, Australia and even Mongolia. However in the past years they have been drawn to an amazing new instrument from Switzerland called Hang. The Hang is one of the newest and rarest instruments on the planet. Each one is hand crafted as a piece of art by two dedicated people in Bern, Switzerland. The Hang Playing Hedge Monkeys have made one CD from recording sessions in India during March 2008 and have tracks from a studio session in London during spring of 2009. website: www.hangplayinghedgemonkeys.com
