The tunes they record are the compositions of band member, Jostein Sørbøen. The group took their name from a local utility power company and the names of the tunes often use words that reflect terms used in that work - often playfully. The group's first recording, "Til Verket Med" (1989) - "To the powerplant with…" was nominated for the Spelemannsprsen, the Norwegian version of the Grammy. Since then, they have released "10 års sikring" (10 years connection) in 1995, "Straumen går!" in 2003, "Ny forsyning" in 2005, Their tunes have also appeared on a number of Norwegian compilation CDs.
