HOLLOW SPACEz EATING FLYz (HSEF) was an experimental solo project by Llewyn Maire (aka kAbbage23, Try My Cabbage) that lasted from 1987 till 1995 (when Máire started using Sardonik Grin and other monikers) HSEF started in Máire's teens when they starting utilizing found objects, household appliances, effects boxs and voice to produce soundscapes. An archive Audio Kassette RekOVerE 1987 - 1995 was released in August of 2009. It is composed of tracks from audio cassette releases recovered after Máire's archive was lost in a fire in 2001. Llewyn Máire has been mixing a host of self-produced and appropriated/remixed media (Disc/ Tape/ Samples) with live electrics (synth-loop-vox) and found made instruments since the late 80’s.
